The Staff Team is here to help the playerbase on WitchCraftMC and each role has distinct purposes and responsibilities.
How to Apply for Staff
If you wish to join the staff team, you can head over to our #support channel on discord and open a Staff Application ticket.
- Remember to fill out the application honestly! We can tell if applications are exaggerated.
- Applications are reviewed by our team as quickly as possible. You’ll hear back within 1–2 weeks.
What We Look For
- Genuine helpfulness - do you already help other players without being staff?
- Maturity and patience - can you handle conflict without escalating it?
- Familiarity with the server - you should have at least played on the server for a month, and know our rules well.
Staff Roles
The Staff Team are volunteers who keep the server running smoothly. They are players first and staff second, but carry more responsibility to help and to preserve a standard for the community.
Helper
The entry-level staff role. Helpers focus on answering questions from new players, moderating chat, and forwarding issues to senior staff members.
Moderator
Moderators handle player reports, grief roll-back and investigating cheaters. Moderators are also tasked with overseeing the Helpers.
Admin
Admins manage the server’s front-end, and major decisions. They also manage the rest of the staff team. Admin promotions are made by Owners only.
Owner
While not a formal rank, the Owners handle all back-end decisions. The Owners of WitchCraftMC are LemonBeee and Daniel3032.
Other Roles
Some roles aren’t directly tied to the Staff hierarchy, but carry their own responsibilities and tasks.
Application slots for these roles open much rarer than for staff.
Developer
Developers are tasked with managing and developing custom plugins for WitchCraftMC.
